in fact, one's whole life consists of numerous turning points or choices that lead towards unknown/uncertain/unexpected results or outcomes (even if it seems like nothing much happens for a while)
now i'm on it as well, 4th or 4-dimensional too (lets see: 3 dimensions of space, 4th dim. of time, umm, seems like everyone else... must be a trick statement then
)
that would be a pretty cool idea for a thread: 'first posts by sbi users', maybe add new posts as users request them, just like Master Razor or hellman did a few posts ago - in other words, lets see how n00bish we all were back then
hehe, doing 'nothing' is impossible, even staring at the 'freshly painted walls' is dong 'something' (daydreaming?), besides, many other employees would call you lucky, since they cannot afford to be late or leave earlier or 'do nothing' at their workplace
can't have it all, these people do not currently have a need for discussing deeper topics - they are also not imbeciles, just used to a simpler kind of life, thats all (if they tried, they would be able to partake in intellectual discussions too)
sure, if it is something you feel like doing in the future or something that you are good at or something that makes sense (doing)
figure out what you really want to do and try to find a way of achieving it - even crappy jobs can be used as a preparation stage for that 'dream job' of yours, use that free time to brush up on things or knowledge needed for that 'dream job', ie. use you time efficiently and in a goal-oriented way
also, trust that you will (eventually, sooner or later, step by step) find what you are searching for
there are different kinds of love, they may be interpreted as stages towards the love of your true self, once you (re)discover it - besides, animals are also conscious beings, just like humans, merely on a lower level of (self-)awareness or consciousness - they represent an example of how beings behave when operating on a lower level of consciousness - on one hand you're glad that you're on a higher level, yet on the other, you're sad that they cannot comprehend as much on their current level - you hope that some day they may achieve a higher level just like you did, a goal that ought to be on everyone's mind as they live their lives - also, they may benefit from associating with higher level beings such as yourself - ie. having pets helps them and helps you too
demeaning? think of it as a 'temporary stage', guess time will tell
hehe, i have a friend that calls this 'killing time' - remember, they do as good as they can, currently they have no higher goals
wasn't the grinch grumpy simply because he had no friends or no fun stuff to do?
eh? scent of trees = nice, dirt/dust = happens anyway, easy to handle fakeness = lame, ie. real trees ftw. (that and contemplating the meaning of the ceremony itself)
mother nature won't mind if your intentions are pure (like: will use the tree to celebrate a holy day), besides, new trees get planted all the time in order to keep the balance intact
it can/could happen, remember, things work in mysterious ways
you'll always have to work (all of your life, doing nothing is impossible) - the best solution is to find out who you are so you can do that what you were meant or born to do, your life's purpose - everything else is a temporary station leading to that discovery
moral: if you couldn't find them at the time, they weren't so important in the first place (might find them on some other occasion)
hehe, i had to rofl on this one - you did not give any examples either (lana del rey? thats not so bad at all, there is worse, much worse...)
sometimes you have to do such things in order to avoid those annoyances later on, besides, no matter how dull a party/meeting may be, there is always something fun/interesting about it (if you bother to pay attention to stuff or carry an optimistic attitude)
hehe, you feel with the 'nature dying' at the end of the year?
you want them to be fine so their bad mood affects/ruins your own too
now that you mentioned it, i found an old newspaper article saying: 'several million young japanese people won't leave their room', now that is depression!
that current reality is the best you can/could get in that particular moment - after realizing that, there is not much more left than having fun with or appreciating that what you currently have
is there a difference?
never did quite feel spoilers as a problem... i mean, you can never spoil the movie entirely, just the events/plot, not how the actors or the director performed it, the actual performance, so it doesn't seem like a big deal, oh well...
