RevTT was very risky even during NRPG days (1-2 yrs back).. NRPG RM worked on almost every site (even Waffles & What ;-) ) but RevTT caught it..

Your peerlist speeds were very high. Even flashing worked on RevTT two years ago.

No I actually tried it 2-3 times then.. with slow speeds (100 up - 30 down) types as well.. But it nicked me everytime..May be I didn't refer to any settings that I might have wrongly used, besides there was no support for NRPG Tools.

Gave up on Revtt after that..

There's the problem. 100 kB/s upload while you download at 30 kB/s. It's plain suspicious to upload more than you download.

You could be limiting your download speed (something often done by honest users to avoid ruining their ratio too quickly), but generally, I agree.

How do u raise the ratio if you don't upload more than you download ?.. I think it was pretty decent and undercontrol.. dunno what went wrong.. Anways never liked Revtt since the start.. TL and ScT are (were) the best for me... TL is still alive and kicking..;-)

My huge mistake in those days (for any tracker) was, that I simultaneously uploaded and downloaded, say upload at 330kbps and download at 100 kbps.. Now this went along for 12-15hrs / day... and would do this for 3-4 days on a stretch for big packs..

Now I fake download the torrent at huge speeds and then fake upload at varying speeds..

E.g say a torrent (at high end tracker) is of 5 GB with say 15-20 leechers and 5 seeders..
- In that case I download it at 2MB/sec... stop before announce.. continue it at 2.5 MB/sec (In the meanwhile I keep upload at 400-500 Kb/sec)..
- After the file is downloaded, I raise the Upload to 3 MB/sec... After next announce.. drop it down to 1.5.. (ofcourse depending on the leechers ) after 2 more announces drop it down 500... Until I get a ratio of 4+.
- Then I just change the Up speed to 0... and seed it for atleast a day or so..In risky trackers.. I seed for couple of days..

Anything wrong with this approach ?

Are you doing this to avoid being shown in the peerlist?

If so, it looks good.

And about the peerlist..As I mentioned earlier.. weirdly enough, Even though I stop before announce I still show up in the peerlists with my exact upload/download. So I don't think stopping before announce is doing whole lot of good, still I do it to take precautions on the trackers where there are no visible peerlists.

So it's on the tracker we've talked before? If so, don't stop before the update, and try to keep download speeds rather low.

i flashed yesterday 10 gbs on docspedia, elbitz, cinemageddon and 200 gbs on demonoid (just for fun)
In the first two trackers i was successful, on cenemageddon i was banned after 24 hrs and on demonoid i was detected as cheater and they resetted my ratio

Other people have been banned from CG due to flashing or high speeds. I wouldn't advice doing that there.

this method requires you to be on you PC and wait for every announce.. dont you this it would be better if you simply use RM with enabled ramdomised UP/DN speeds and put range for download to 2-3MB/s and for upload 500kb-1MB/s and after a while when you see your download is finished just simply change the UP ramdaomiser values to 2-3MB/s
that way you dont have to be on your Comp for the whole time and you can acheive your required stats easily

He is talking about a less refined Waffles Method. Read about it around here, and check cheatos' tool to automate it
