don't cry my son ! replace battery cells with chargeable cheaper ones available in the market.. all you need is a multimeter to check if the Voltage output is same as required or not..

And I just went to a local repair shop to check if they had finished repairing my MP3 player's audio jack. I dropped the device there exactly a week ago. The dude told me "I just put it in the table, drop here by 6, 6.30pm and I should be done".Bad news:

the official HP one is 115€,chargeable cheaper ones
i bought this Chinese replica for 45€
and here is the result, the original HP one died after 3 years (2007-2010),
and this stupid battery died after 6 months!
lesson learned: always buy official stuff

That's very true .. cheap buyer always cry (especially when its about battery, print cartridges and HDDs) btw today my 80GB external storage drive crashed beyond recovery .. lets celebrate this week as electronic disaster week :(

How? I don't see how having this battery made him any money. I do agree with you that getting the expensive option in this case is the cheaper choice over time.
