that's a very bad idea. do never let the cheating tool run when you're not around. especially not over night.
and not on SCC anyway where everything is so fast.

I do it all the time with Extreme Mod.

Just select the option to stop spoofing when
the peers are below 5 and spoof at average swarm speed.

With mods it's OK because they have options such as the ones you mentioned, and thus can know when it's no longer safe to fake. Tools can't connect to peers, so their possibilities of doing that are limited. Still, the only thing I'd leave a torrent client doing overnight is real seeding.

anyway what kind of torrent are you using? and i güss you mean 'stop faking'?

^^ Ohh yes, I meant stop faking. Don't know why I said spoofing.
I do it for 0day/mp3 section which is under FREELEECH now.
(I need to get RSS/IRC scripts to jump on them earlier now)

has anyone tried the utorrent mods there recently? Im more interested in using the NoReport function there and not the upload multis.

I always use W-M there, to determine which speed i'll use, i first check the peerlist to use a speed a little lower than the fastest seedbox. Last time i did this was a couple of days ago, fastest seedbox was like 40mb, so i used like 37mb. No problems so far.

Hi, i use the W-M with real downloaded torrents, so i stay real seeding for a while after doing it, i think that's the safest way to use the W-M.

of course anything can happen. but right now they need to get the site back to a normal usability level

maybe, maybe not. but i'm glad they're doing something to get rid of all that errors.

Will this mean if you cheated at 100MB/s a month ago they will find out and ban? Sorry for the stupid question but Haggar's wording was a bit confusing and being safe is worth the work.
