Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Run Azureus and Enjoy!

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.


Single Exe version (All in One)
Single Exe version doesnt need Vuze installed on your PC just download, extract and run the exe. Only java is needed to be installed.

Additional Info:
You can upgrade from a previous version seamlessly - your torrent list will not be lost.

yes, well at the time they banned it people already moved on to v3 mods with better spoof capability so as an anti-cheaters measure it made no sense.

i never bothered to capture aza packets to see if there's difference in anything but the version string. the way the spoof works surelly suggests that there is nothing besides that. but people fake utorrent strings and dont get caught... that's interesting because i would assume 2 different clients would at least send some packets in different order making them easy to fingerprint.

i'm no expert in RM but it glancing over it's thread, it obviously takes more effort to perfectly spoof a client than changing a string, one can assume it could also go for different versions of the same client :)

Hi all

Cheating on elbitz.net, I have had troube getting this v4.3.07 to announce any upload, the download is announced however.

Using anon's key

seed 5 / leech 2, +/- 1 depending on time of day.
no RM used

pt 13 - 1;0
pt 15 - Ive got it as 99% for now cos the dl is killing the ratio. b4 it was default

I tried the 3 types of spoofing but I cant get any of them to work it to work
what am I doing wrong?

When I right click show details\info, the fake upload is 61mb and fake dl is 450mb. The dl figure is reflected on elbitz.net tracker but not the upload, my upload is "0" :`(. Since I used reduce ratio the dl figure is smaller on the tracker.

Please can somebody tell me how to use this properly?
