seems reading faulty manuals creates a ripple effect of errors:
they're the ones you actually got either way
sometimes true
jokes are usually erroneous
if not a joke: untrue due to one's uncertainty (about the future)
indeed

Yea ending was a bit off.. I think Light died too easily and due to that idiot's mistake.. could've been much better.
They could've shown that even passing the real notebook along with fake was light's plan and light's follower wrote Near's and other people's name on torn off paper of real notebook. that way light wins and this would've been an epic twist.

As for what I've been doing, I'm currently a (non-punched) freelancer and working my way into a sysadmin position inside a company I've been consulting for a while now. Other than that, living, I guess? Since I haven't had a fixed schedule for a while now, my free time is spent either sleeping or doing random computer stuff

the reason why history repeats itself is because people didn't learn their lessons well enough the first time around
in this case, one of the lessons could be to reduce one's attachment to the importance of spoilers or even to movies/series in general
