I would listen to this crap back in 2006.
I knew fuck all about rap until 2007 or so, I thought Eminem was a band. One of my friends got me into it. His tastes were pretty mainstream, but at least I was able to learn something. The songs they play on TV and radio about pimpin' bitches and flashing your bling and gat in da 'hood after doing dope in the club isn't all the rap there is, nor the best. If you look at stuff from the 90s and 80s, like 2Pac, Biggie, NWA or Grandmaster Flash, you'll see they knew how to show something or tell a story. Eminem never had those bragging and self-congratulatory lyrics either. Or, as a certain girl said...

    Code:
"You know what's a neat form of literature?"
    "Rap!"
"I actually used to hate rap music..."
"Maybe just because it was popular, or I would only hear the junk they play on the radio."
"But some of my friends got more into it, and it helped me keep an open mind."
"Rap might even be more challenging than poetry, in some ways."
"Since you need to fit your lines to a rhythm, and there's much more emphasis on wordplay..."
"When people can put all that together and still deliver a powerful message, it's really amazing."
"I kind of wish I had a rapper in the Literature Club."
"Ahaha! Sorry if that sounds silly, but it would be really interesting to see what they came up with."
"It would really be a learning experience!"
With all that said, here's an actually good 50 Cent track.

"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."

You know, I'm fairly proficient at English, I even have a degree that allows me to teach it at high school level (which says either good things about me or bad things about my country's educational system), but there's some stuff that eludes me... for example, how do you know if a verb is irregular or not? What's the right order for adjectives? When to use may vs. might. vs. should vs. would? I was taught all of that at some point, but I don't remember any of it. I just go by intuition and memorization. I can accurately tell what the right answer is, but without knowing why (which would make me a sub-par teacher).

Come to think about it, this may be why English is such a reviled subject for Japanese high school students in anime and visual novels Learning it must be as difficult for them as Japanese would be to us, and then some.

    >Should vs would
The traditional rule is that should is used with first person pronouns (I and we), as in I said I should be late, and would is used with second and third persons (you, he, she, it, they), as in you didn't say you would be late

    >May vs Might
May and Might When Expressing Possibility. In popular usage and speech, may and might are used interchangeably when referring to possibility and probability, but there is a slight difference between the two. May is used to express what is possible, factual, or could be factual.

    >how do you know if a verb is irregular or not
    Practice and memorization!

    >Right order of adjectives
    Quantity or number
    Quality or opinion
    Size
    Age
    Shape
    Color
Proper adjective (often nationality, other place of origin, or material)
    Purpose or qualifier

The spirit of gnu/linux is so beautiful, wouldn't you agree?
It just brings a tear to me eye. I would be honered if I could meet RMS in person and have a chat with him.

And these are my favorite gnu art:

I don't think rms is a poser, but the first half of your post still stands.

The people that I've met weren't very bright. Not to mention that only a handful went to college.
To me, Richard Stallman is a person to look up to. Aside from popularity, he gained nothing from GNU or FSF.

notice that 'the blind leading the blind' may indeed be fully invested in their leadership

dictators around the world were/are known to be clever and impressive

So you think he has an ulterior motive? I don't know what you are trying to say. If it weren't for him linux would not have existed. We would have nothing. He created the idea of free software.

he represents the controlled opposition, which aims to conquer and steer any opposition towards where the position wants them to be
if gates is the bad cop, stall-man is the good cop, both working for the same (corrupt) department

    If it weren't for him...
he is but one piece of the puzzle, all pieces are needed for it to function

He created the idea of free software.
obviously, the idea of free software appeared as soon as the idea of non-free software did
