I keep hitting that 60 second wait period between posts, very annoying! :(
That should be a non-member scrub thing only!

lol, yea it's annoying
maybe a 30s would be better?
now that you have mentioned i'm annoyed when i try to write something for a post and until i finish the post when i click post is says to me that i have to log again on my account...after a time the account is signing out by hilself..at least on firefox..since i don't know for sure if it's a bulleting board (forum) thing
Maybe we can reduce it to 5 (to prevent accidental double submissions while not being annoying) for your user groups. I'll see what I can do.
That's what the "remember me" checkbox in the login form is there for
Its label is not visible in the login boxes at the top of each page, but ticking it has the same effect.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."

Give me some credit. I'm an excellent mod and was this close to putting that on my CV, but decided against it to avoid being overqualified.
I don't know, I always saw that as one of the quirks that makes this forum unique. Like automatically converting regular links to titled ones. That's probably a publicly available vBulletin hack, but I've never seen it on any other place. Besides, context will usually tell you who sent it anyway.repping anonmous thing should b eliminated. We always have to write our name which is annoying
PS: I really should be sleeping right now
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
I feel like I'm loosing my mind. Not in the mood to do anything. I sit for 1 minute and looking at the clock it seems I've sat for 2 hours.
5 PM and i'm still felling sleepy

I suggest lying in your bed and listening to some Boards of Canada with headphones
This reminds me of my 2013 holiday trip. Our bus left at something like 3am, so I didn't get much sleep the night before. The actual travel was six hours long. Then we had to burn another three hours at the hotel, waiting for the rooms to be prepared and opened.
When me and my friends finally got there, I made it to the afternoon before collapsing, not having slept for nearly two days. Woke up some hours later, but it felt like another two days had passed. Normally, it's impossible to me to sleep if it's not nighttime, and I've never understood how other people can do it. That was a notable exception.
It's probably ozymandis.

change your activities to something you like to do (listening to music, watching a movie, cleaning the house ,...)Originally Posted by Master Razor
call a friend or your girlfriend and let them pick some activity that will cheer you up (like, cleaning their house,...)
you could force yourself to do some specific things:
- but the results may be similarly unsatisfactory (reflecting the current mood/feeling)
- however, after a while you might forget about the previous mood and start enjoying that what you forced yourself to do
you could try returning to a more balanced 'state of mind' by dropping your current activities and simply relaxing:
- sit down, close your eyes, avoid thoughts and just 'look' in the darkness, thus relaxing
- lie down, close your eyes, avoid thoughts and just 'look' in the darkness, thus relaxing even more
- doze off or catch some sleep
- go for a walk, catch some fresh air
other possibilities:
- joke about it, be positive about it, don't let it 'drag you down'
- make a list of things you can do, that you like to do, that ought to be done and go through it
- an artist looking for such feelings as a source of inspiration would welcome such a 'state of mind' - you could try expressing yourself in artistic ways while in such a mood
- every time you feel restless or annoyed or lethargic or the like you can practice relaxation (useful also for meditative purposes)
- find the source of this condition/mood and try to figure out a solution to it
... so many options, just have to pick one and try it out, see what happens - you might find a way to deal with a similar 'state of mind' or problem the next time it appears
yeah..freelancer...don't have a boss ..or scheduleYou must have an awesome job!
long enough ...in the last year(S) i can't recall once when i was sleeping before 2.am...maybe sometimes...falling asleep 30min or 1h watching a show before 2.am...but i woke up very fastHow long have you been doing this? I thought sleep cycles could be changed with enough persistence.
