Have to agree here. Actually I made PU on what.cd before I even knew about sites like sb-innovation.
be careful about cheating there, i do know some people getting banned there for it. probably just went too high with the fake stats.

Don't cheat.... I just took a look after reading your post.... nearly everything has too low leechers now. Even the flacs which show 100+ leechers, when you click them have 1500+ seeders and about 30 leechers. These are not the kind of torrents I would reccomend cheating on...

You can't really cheat at what.cd until the staff picks are posted.... and then even more annoyingly you need to notice the staff picks within an hour or two of them being posted. Around this point there is a lot of leechers on the torrents (probably more than seeders) and there is so much traffic going on that you can cheat up to 1mB/s and the what scripts dont sound any alarms and the staff don't notice anything out of the ordinary either due to all the busy traffic these few torrents are having. This time comes only once a month though, and is probably the only time you can build a significant buffer on What.CD through cheating. What.CD staff know this as well, which is why they don't publicize when they're going to post up the staff picks. Better luck next time mate
Yes... what.cd has the best scripts in the torrent world.... if you uploaded a lot of data without memory reader consider yourself banned... sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Bans are not instant either, they are timed so you will be banned within the next few days (90%+ chance)
If I was you I would download everything you want to a desirable ratio (in the rare likelihood you dont get banned) eg: say you need 0.3 ratio to stay alive - then bring your ratio down to 0.3 through downloading stuff you want - if you are banned then it's okay, while the ban delay was in effect you at least got to use the tracker to get yourself something useful - if you dont get banned then at least you won't be on ratio watch (and trust me, a cheater does not want to be on ratio watch lol).
When you are most likely banned, change your IP and jump into the IRC interview to get back in

Is anyone faking on staff picks at the moment? Because I spotted something very weird: on RM I put a very low up speed (like 0.001 kB/s) and it's actually uploading with a speed that varies between 10 and 20 kB/s. That's very very strange!
Is it just me?

No, it's not just you. For whatever reason RM can't use tiny upload speeds. Don't let that let you down, however - at 0.001kB/s, you may reach PU status by the site's 15th birthday.
