I used this once a long ago, had a lot of problems because of codecs interfering with each other. Since then i switched to cccp, i use it until now without problems. CCCP is like the basic version of k-lite, but more stable, they do a lot of testing before releasing their builds.

I think he's trying to say K-lite dudes release too many updates.

K-lite also has beta versions and they do a lot of testing too.
The first versions released after the windows 7 was leaked online were like crap.
Now K-lite plays whatever I want it to play.

thing is you can't know if you get the best performance out of your videos or not, when using K-Lite Codec pack.. since a lot of filters collide and you have like 3 filters for each decoder needed.
if you're determined to use a codec pack instead of installing only the ones you need, I also heard CCCP is better

I think a lot of people experienced that conflict problem where things just didnt work. But that was about 2 years ago. Ive since come back and use the klite mega again with np.

I've been using K-Lite Codec Pack for years, and never had any conflicts or anything. Nonetheless though, seems like they release far too many updates for no particular reason.

Wow. 2 different build releases in less than a week. It is really rather ridiculous.

When windows 7 came out they had like 4 builds per week.
It's not that ridiculous. If a bug that was just found needs to be solved why postpone?
