Unhappy A Question about trackers that bans countries

ok..so am from egypt..and tried to check out some of the trackers the guys in here said they're good..but couldn't view them even..so i googled abit..and found out that my country is banned from several trackers...

    (Egypt) - SCC, HDBits.org, SDBits.org, Elektronik, Waffles, What.cd

    so here is the question....
is there a way around this? or i can only dream of visiting those sites?

I thought What.cd didn't ban countries - where did you get that from?

Either way, proxies, AOL, and UltraVPN/Hotspot Shield are nice ways to get in, but bear in mind most trackers ban anonymizers - it means you have something to hide, in this case your real country

Yes, I remember a What.cd staffer saying they don't ban countries and never will. They only block some IP ranges from their IRC interview, but you can still be invited by normal means.

Indeed. You have TL or RevTT for Scene material, STMusic for music, HD-Bits.ro or Bit-HDTV for HD video, for example.

Well, first What.cd & Waffles didn't ban Egypt,I believe they didn't even ban any country as far as I recall, still the rest of trackers you mentioned banned more than one country in a row which I know sux big time.

However,as anon suggested, your best shot is to use a private/elite anonymizer which includes daily offshore proxies,VPNs (if you could pay for one, then this is the best way ever) or even free proxy servers/tools such as ProxySwitcher or FreeGate.

Waffles banned Romania. And remember Freegate is shareware for users outside of China

A paid VPN service would be the best, but it's an extra charge.

FILEnetworks Blog: Waffles.fm bans Romanian users

I think ScT banned Romania too, but they took the measure of reviewing already registered romanian members one by one and decide to let the good ones stay.

Yeah SCT did ban Romania like 3 months ago or something for the same reason other trackers followed, but SCT stepped on wisely to let loyal, good & old Romanian users stay on the bus.

I hope other trackers reconsider faithful & behaved users before hitting the ban hammer.
