All you have is a picture of "me". You don't know my identity, and I can easily counter what you've done so far by getting a haircut and changing my shirt.

I'm not cutting my hair though, it gives people something to talk about. Like "holy shit, your hair is long" (when it's barely reaching the length it had on '08!).

practice makes 'perfect', inspiration goes beyond that

a recipe for the former (practice) is to keep dealing with such topics, learning from your experience and the experiences of others - for the latter (inspiration) there is no recipe, it either appears or not, it finds you if you're ready for it, it reflects your current level regarding those topics (the inspiration you get is adequate to your level)

so what to do about it? just keep doing the things that make the most sense to you, that you feel are the things you ought to do, that feel right to you - slowly but surely you'll notice how some things are more interesting or relevant to you than others and you'll pursue those things, you'll keep discovering what your own life or being is all about - this may include some level of materialistic advancement (like perfecting some materialistic skill) and some level of spiritual advancement (insight into the nature of reality) - but, some of it will go slow (years), some very slow (lifetimes), so don't expect miracles (look at the other 7 billion people to notice how these things may take a lot of time)
