Red has 5400rpm, or a variable speed which has 5400 limit. It is designed for a 24/7 non-stop operation but not intensive operation (download, gaming).A "black" drive isn't worth the money. I'll take a red one over anything. Those are the awesome ones! :)
Blue is better for desktops. And Black always win due to the large cache (compared to blue).
rpm doesn't matter all that much. Slow rpm with large platters still give out decent speeds. And like i said, who puts games on a normal drive anyway? getting a super cheap crappy ssd will still be 10 times better than a black drive. we have officially entered an age where hard disks are meant for storage and only storagea 25gb bluray will take like 20MBps of transfer. A red drive will easily spit out 80-90 MBps. So other than games, you won't even notice. As for intensive, I personally always use my oldest drive to download on until it breaks down. I'm still using my crappy old 300gb one for that and have yet to replace it once, and it's working just fine.
Seriously, unless you _need_ to play games on that disk, avoid getting a black one. It's really not worth all the extra money it costs.
Blue: standard desktop drives, better access times than green and red.
Green: Mass storage drives -- slower but more energy efficient, cheaper per GB. Don't use for your OS and apps but fine for music/movies/etc.
Black: Faster, more cache, great compromise if you can't afford an SSD.
Red: Like Green, but far more reliable.
Personally, every hard drive I still own is used for mass storage (except the download drive). I can't find a wd blue in any of shops I visit larger than 1TB, which imho makes it a waste of money. 4TB or gtfo

Any suggestions on what maybe needs to change?
- Save some cash on the cpu and get a non-K. Unless you're planning on overclocking? The only difference is that the multiplier is unlocked. If you're not touching it, it's a waste of money.
- I was going to suggest the Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H, but the one you picked seems quite decent as well.
- Have the same ram, it's good!
- I would personally kick that 1TB black drive. It's useless in your system. The game you're currently playing will fit on the ssd as well. Get a larger storage drive instead for the same amount of money imho.
- best ssd ever. Have it as well, couldn't be happier
- the radeon r9 270x is only _slightly_ slower but costs about 50 euro less. The 280 is slightly better and still cheaper. I would go for a r9 280x which is probably best cost/value card atm. (The extra cost on top of the gtx 760 is less than the money you gain from taking a non-k cpu)
- seasonic is a really good brand!
- Stick a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO on the cpu, it's cheap, cools really well and will make the system a lot quieter!

Few suggestions from my end :
Agree with Sazzy regarding the K CPU's. It's absolutely useless if you don't plan to overclock. Also the CPU itself is pretty powerful which makes me wonder why plan to overclock an already powerful CPU unless you are in the enthusiast category who are into competitive benchmarking, competing etc. I would suggest you to just stick with 4690.
Another point is since you do have a very good config setup i would suggest go for the 770 GTX rather than 760 SC (you can definitely save the bit from K for the 770). I have been owing 770 for a while, and i can tell you its a beast. You wont have any problems playing any game with maximum settings at this current juncture. Your CPU, RAM is very good and 770 would complete that very good system.

It is good, yeah. I just prefer ati. But that's like saying you like apples better than pears. Personal preference! Generally ati is a bit cheaper, though. Drivers suck when you run linux though, so if that is the case, go with the gtx for sureThing is I'll probably overclock sometimes. :)

I also think it's better to buy a mid-range now and a new midrange in a year or maybe two. That way you'll spend the same amount of money and have a newer/better card at the end than spending a lot on a 770 today! Plus you'll be able to sell the 760 and earn some cash back
I would really suggest you get the cooler as well if you plan on overclocking it some day :) I have the same one and my cpu runs at about 37 degrees celsius with a 300rpm (really slow but you can't hear it at all) fan.
If you don't end up overclocking, might also be worth it to check out a H-type chipset over the Z-type instead. They're a lot cheaper and can do almost the same if not OC'ing.

So basically, I'm on meds all the time and not doing much at all!
Did you cry enough to get some of the more funny meds? Cracked a feet some time ago and got about 250-300mg Tramadol i.v. Hit me pretty fucking hard, first i got quite fucking stoned till it knocked me out for ~1min. Got home and slept for 24 hours

When this came out, I didn't have a computer to play it. When I did get a computer, I didn't have money to buy the ame and so on.
I so wish I had money to buy each and every little part that made my childhood. Look at that magnificent package, neatly packed, original books about gameplay and history. They don't make 'em today like they used to. Nowadays it's only crap. CRAP EVERYWHERE!! Planned obsolecence, free-masonry, pron... whatever happend to the good ol' days?
