I don't have many apps. I would recommend BetterBatteryStats. If you have trouble with your phone's batter, this app is for your. Helped me a lot!

For me best apps are:
-Clean Master - verry useful ,help cleaning your android
-Tapatalk Pro- best app for browsing forums
-IM+ Pro - one app for all messaging( skype, gmail ,yahoo etc)
-WhatsApp - verry good messenger app
-Viber - good app for sending messages and make calls via internet
-App Master - help you uninstall your apps
-AppMgr Pro- this can help you to move some apps on sdcard

download mobogenie or 1 mobile market if u dnt want to sign in..

There are many Mobigene (don't like it they have some useless and unsafe apps also)
Aptoide is the best I have used.
If you just want to download the .apk to either PC/Device this is great: APK Downloader [Latest] Download Directly | Chrome Extension v3 (Evozi Official)

good thing then i don't use mobogenie.. I use 1 mobile market and till now it has given me no problems and no harmful apps

Because google's app store is the only one with somewhat decent security checks in the release chain. Honestly, I wouldn't fully trust any of the others not containing a single virus.
That being said, they're nice alternatives if you don't want a google account but still an android (but do you really trust android enough in that case that it's not secretly telling google all your stuff anyway?)

useful if you want to download apps without having a device / google Account, backup .apk on your Laptop directly

- Apps are like 1 or 2MB, who needs a pause. If your 3g is that slow, just put it on update via Wifi mode only.
- Google's servers are pretty much the fastest around, not sure why it's slow for you. I easily update 20 apps in less than 30 seconds. (thus multiple megabytes per second)
- The apk gets stored on sdcard0 and is available in /data/app.

It's more or less the same. The tool is a hack to make the servers think it's a phone, since you can't download apk's directly from the site, only via android. (for somewhat obvious reasons)
Behind the screens, your phone is submitting that id.
