In "The Expendables 3," Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. i'm afraid this complete franchise falls into the category: so bad its...not even funny

...not to mention: part 4 might/will follow, ridiculous imdb scores, silly old-timers clueless about their image/reputation/abilities/place/..., mainstream action movies reaching new lows, etc.

seems this list could be useful as a reminder of: what 'action heroes' may be labeled as 'passe', likely even 'way past their prime' (to be bothered with checking 'further down the line')

also, did you notice the 'sad looking' Couture, probably because no one gave him at least a few decent lines to say

Sylvester Stallone - still not falling apart, eh?
Jason Statham - tried so hard to get back into the 1st/2nd place but all in vain, he has fallen from grace
Jet Li - managed to mess-up the only pathetic line they gave him, must have been out of protest
Dolph Lundgren - looked very tired
Randy Couture - see above
Arnold Schwarzenegger - barely moves
Wesley Snipes - most interesting character (1st)
Antonio Banderas - shares 2nd place, gets annoying too, sadly not enough sparks between him and the female character were allowed
Mel Gibson - shares 2nd place
Harrison Ford - just sad
young crew - did not impress... at all?

other than that, the movie might be slightly better than the other two parts, but still located way low at the bottom of the barrel, guess i'll have to repeat: it was still so bad its...not even funny

i think ronda is hot... but her fights are boring as fuck though. not that i actively watch that. Looked up a few when that ufc game came out

First movie was mediocre. And that's just because you're overwhelmed with the cast. Second one was 'meh'. (probably getting used to the cast and the movie just not being all that good). I doubt this will be any better.
While they have a large and famous cast, half of them aren't even actively in the movie. Jet Li had like 3 lines in the second movie. (And he was the guy I was watching for, tbh) But then again, Jet Li kinda sucks in non-mandarin movies..

Other than that, I basically _completely_ agree with Slikrapid on this one!
