3 years ago when i came here i was a tracker addict... i have many trackers like scc,revtt, ipt, bitgamer,tl and many more the big trackers... i had 100's of them..... with time this thing become boring n i gave up my accounts to people... only acc i have now is waffles and ipt.. even the biggest 2 trackers music vids and what.cd that i was looking for all the time as m a music freak, anon offered me.. but i don't know what happened i did'nt pm'ed him.. n did'nt took those specially music vids .. the biggest dream tracker... even as of now i only use waffles .. i don;t even come here for cheating .. i come here only just coz of some very special friends i came here like mihai,sbf,cheatos,anon n many more... with time all these things seems unnecessary n of 0 value... is it just me? sometimes it feels weird though

Me too. I used to give these trackers me heart & soul a few years back, not so much now though. I moved on to better things.
I've retired from the tracker business a long time ago. All I do now now is help out with invites and try to maintain what i already have. No additions whatsoever.

But I do love these freshman users that want everything for nothing. Kinda of reminds me of how I was... And I do let myself be scammed sometimes just to let that guy have fun. I love makin' people happy.

Still, the only reason I come here now is for you guys. I love this community and want to help in any that I can.

Well I was never a tracker "addict". I was on few trackers, and I'm still today! I don't search for new ones, and the reason I mainly still visit SBI is because of you good people

This happened for all of us not just you my friend, I have been persuaded with just IPT and sometimes i access TL but not always xD I think torrent world is not about having big accounts of big trackers but having big accounts of friendship .

Hey do any of you guys knew the tracker scenelinks.ro back in 2007? That was my 'big account of frindship'. Man did I used to talk to those guys on the forum everyday. Used to upload stuff too. Every movie or song uploaded was the bomb. Not like these days where nothing gets you excited.

Those were different times. I assume you were way newer to BitTorrent than you're now. I also remember when, around that same year, I'd leave my computer on with lots of torrents downloading, and immediately turning the monitor on to check on uTorrent as soon as I woke up or came home. My connection was 1/3 as fast as my current one, and it took time for some releases to transfer - I guess that added to the "excitement". Now downloading is just something that happens in the background while I do other stuff.

It's natural for interest to fade over time.

I know that tracker but I never really bothered getting an account.
I used to hang out on the ShadowTorrents forums but then I took an invitation to the knee and became a Filelist fag.

Probably because of the ever growing speeds ? I mean I don't want to brag but I get 12MB/s.Sometimes it feels like it goes too fast.
Anyone remembers those Skulptura game releases ? Man...they were awesome.They made me feel like some hacker plus they were god damn lightweight.
No release today get's my attention.I don't even bother looking at bitrates and other stuff when downloading movies or TV shows.

With me too! I was a hardcore torrenter and was active on many forums about 3 to 4 years back. Gradually, it all went down. Now, I hardly download even 10 to 15 GB a month, sometimes even less. And about cheating on trackers, I used to use RM and other stuff earlier. Now all I use is VPEM. Have lost track of even expert cheating. Life has caught up with me, and hence, I barely torrent, and barely cheat as well, many of my acc got disabled sue to inactivity, dont even bother for them. In fact, I used to be active here earlier, guiding other with my cheating experiences. Now that has gone down as well, resulting in down grading of my membership status here. Of course, that doesn't matter to me, as the very reason I come here, is I enjoy the community here.
I guess all pass through these phases, excited at first, when new to torrenting, and later all goes down, and what remains is friends

Hehe, I remember my filelist.ro account, same I have now. I didn't understood then how the ratio system works so I though it is supposed to be small. I can't even realize how I got from there to waffles method. Anyway, those where the days, testing cheating on filelist everyday, making money while raising ratios for people. Also I was a few months active on their forum too but then I got a RM to the knee. I remember when I first came to SB-i, how I met DS which I still talk to, then SBF, then anon and the gang. Those where good days, getting banned on waffles, on torrent-invites, faking seedboxes with a method from anon and so on. I even got to use 1 GBit seedboxes for a year, so yeah, I learned pretty much everything about these things. I'm still in the mood for making a tracker, I never got into that business.

You remind me of myself back in the day. Never told anyone but I once had 200 tracker accounts. Needless to say, management was terrible!

That's extreme, I think the most I've had myself was 40-something accounts.
