How to repair corrupted jpeg files? urgent

something went wrong with my sd card and i recoved my pics using recovery software but pics got corrupted ... some i can't even view some have gray pattern and some distorted random colors in them... how to fix this?

stellar recovery , photo rescue.. both gave same result.. can u gimme your email in pm .. i'll show you what's wrong with my pics... my pics are precious.. can't lose them man :-(

Sure man.I have never touched a sd card but I will do all I can in order to help you.I know how bad it is to lose pictures.

Ok let me tell you I don't think there's a way to repair those pictures.Is that how all of them look?

damn.. no not all of them.. some are okay like half of thie pic is okay and other half have grey pattern .. watch the grey pattern in below link

there is a great recovery program anon once recommended, if you still have the files on your SD (and I really hope you don't delete/format anything!) try it:
WinHex: Hex Editor & Disk Editor, Computer Forensics & Data Recovery Software

it saved my ass two years ago... as I had a 250GB hd crash

I can't seem to be able to open any of the jpegs you sent me with gimp and most of my searches point me to PhotoRec.You should try that.

You'll need a forensics license, and make sure you use "open disk", not "type-based file recovery". Entire partitions can be recovered this way, if the damage is low enough.

Thumbnails may look fine because the EXIF thumbnail wasn't corrupted.

I hate to be the person who slaps your face with hindsight, but backups are important.

thnx man for d big help.... i think my sd card have some bad sectorrs ,,, software says so. i',m gonna replace it

well his programmme worked beautifully.. did'mt recieved my jpgs but i got1 hink.. my cell saves big thumnails of respluion 640x480.. i recovered those.. atleast i have something now ...yupieeeeeee

actually i captured the pics yesterday and i was going to make back up...buteverything was ok.. but when i connected my cell in mass storage mode my pics went from 360 to 70 :( don't know how

hey anon my d drive is gone coz i cloned the memory card with winhex... it becqame c drive

what to do now... reovery does'nt show d drive contents

i went to tools then disk clone option.. but sd card was clone to destnation drive d/... but now when i opem d drive its showing all d files that r in c.. plus same size as of c

You just made an exact copy of C: on your SD card, overwriting its previous contents. Any further recovery is now impossible.

Clone Disk wasn't the option you had to use
