underground 2,nfs most wanted,undercover..all are good....and i cant select 1...right
probably the earlier games (i voted for high stakes) with those nice ambient/lounge/chillout/electronic tracks, as opposed to later (known) artist songs or rap/rock that just ain't makin' it

Most Wanted had an impressive track list . one of the very few times i downloaded an OST of a game . "in a hood near you" , "nine thou" , "Feed the Addiction" were pretty good to listen to .
even though these songs may work well alongside others on particular artist albums or in your car stereo for example, imo they still don't really belong to gaming soundtracks (customizable ones excluded)
there should be a recognizable difference between some pop/rock/rap song (attention demanding, foreground oriented) and a soundtrack song (more oriented towards gaming ambiance and background support experience), these two categories don't mix well if you want to have smooth/thematic/logical passages through & between gaming segments, otherwise its just like a (random) playlist on your computer
