Well, I got a MusicVids invite some time ago and I've recently gotten myself into a problem:

I downloaded a big torrent over night and got my ratio down. I was warned for having a low ratio and I could only seed torrents I already downloaded or upload my own. Unfortunately, I have super slow speeds, so it will take a long time to upload. I need some help, what can I do to raise my ratio without uploading anything on the only torrent I have seeding and not upload a torrent? If a TRUSTED member here is a member there and would want to help me out, just say so and I'll PM you.

Oh, you can also give tips on what works there.

If you want to stay on the safe side, I'd recommend vuze xtreme on the big torrent you downloaded. If your download rights aren't revoked, then I would say download something that is popular on this tracker and gain ratio on it.

If you can't download there just use vuze with show us a seeder option on 1-2 times finished torrent with leechers.

Waffles method works with any speeds at any torrent.Just don't upload too much in one day.

Alright, well first of all, I no longer have the .TORRENT file anymore. I need to PM one of you guys there to help me out. Does the Waffles method work there with no seeders?

You indeed got yourself in a complicated situation... if I understand correctly, you got warned and now can only seed already snatched torrents, or upload your own. This often comes accompanied with losing your downloading privileges, as it seems is your case.

I can only think of a trick someone from this forum once mentioned to me... if you still have the metadata, get on a torrent you've already snatched as 100% done with the RM, and ask someone from here who also has an account at MV to do the same, but as 0% done. You can then fake upload, at say, 100kB/s, and the other person can do the same with download until he "finishes" the torrent.

I was thinking of PMing one of the guys that wanted to help me out this:

All I need for you to do is pick a torrent from the site and download it to your hard drive. Next, go to Torrent Editor and load the torrent file there. Remove your passkey for the tracker leaving only the MusicVids. Now you scroll down, click on update, then download the torrent file again. If possible attach it to the PM or upload to a site such as Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire and give me the link to download.

ares, better use a hex-editor for removing the passkey, metadata editors can change the info_hash.

then download the torrent file again.

Oh, I see - Torrent Editor is a Web-based app, not a program! So he needs to redownload the metadata once he's done editing.

But again, I'd recommend using HxD to replace the passkey with X's.

I don't think it changes anything. It only changes the hash if something is changed where there is an *.
