To hold the ratio is a little bit hard on indietorrents but have patience
Please visit Indietorrent and if you want to now what kind of sounds they have then take look at the Forum-Reseeds and Requests. The Community is small with 9000 members but the contend and the Tracker is very fine If you like good independ expiremental miusik with no corrupted mentaliaty fom big corporate recorded labels and this with Independence form commercialization then you like to stay on this site.If you wish to help this Rock genre and the great artists then you are here on the right place

I was there before I gave my account away. I, personnally did not have problems with ratio there. At least not with the torrents that I had.

The music there, is 'not-to-bad', I felt.

But for the music fan who likes to listen to music that is not RIAA, then it's a good decent site.

a good review, my friend. :)

I think is "indy=independent" instead of "indian".

Maybe the best indy music tracker because I never heard about another!

    Nice review

It's sad how some trackers seem to be proof of how easy it is to install TBdev on a server and then forget about it.

    Well, that may be anon.
But it's also marketing and competition. Too many sites.
Before you know it, one site is up one day and the next day its down b/c no-one goes there.
Of course, very few pple will visit such a site b/c there's nothing there. Maybe due to lack of marketing.
Honestly, I went there to see what it was like, ....only to delete my account after I saw there's nothing there.
IndieTorrents has obviously been around awhile longer.
I remember a few months ago, the site did go down due to lack of funding only to rise again after many people donated $$ to keep it running for what amounted to about 6 months ( I think) of continuing service.

Marketing is problem, but over-promotion cause wrong people to notice site. Be popular is fine, but not if the "po-po" become interested. It must be hard balance security, popularity, usefulness, relevance in torrent scene... Glad not my responsibility :)

Wrong = Feds, RIAA, MPAA, other people who hate p2p.

Case in point: TL. They huge site. Claims say already infiltrated by reps of copyright holders, the **AAs, ets.

Sharky's recent experience should be a prime example. I guess this is one of the disadvantages of having such a large userbase.
