    [Tut] Speed up uTorrent

[FONT="Verdana"]Hi all , in this tutorial i will explain how to speed up torrent speed by modifying some settings.

This tip helped me to speed up torrent especially in public trackers , it is simply opening more connections in windows xp that is limited by the default settings of it:

    How to do it?

Simply download the tool attached then extract and follow instructions shown in the images:

After that You need to change this settings in uTorrent

options > preferences > advanced > search for net.max_halfopen and set it's value to 100 instead of 8

    uTorrent Super Speed Settings.rar
1890 individual connections, 2329 global ones and 14 upload slots!? Unless you're on a 100Mbit line, that will kill your connection. I have deleted the attachment. "Super settings" for everyone don't exist, you have to adjust them yourself based on your upload/download speeds and presence of a router.

Thanks for the TCP/IP patching thingy, though, we didn't have a tutorial for that.

I warned and said if you have some crazy connection or you are using seed box.
Back when i was using seed box this settings did wonders for speeding up utorrent.

damn, i patched my connection limit long about but didn't know about net_max_halfopen =_=

btw there was a nicer patcher which first shows current limit then prompts for new one and patch it, the one i used

    LvLord's? That's the one I used, too.

Since we're talking about the max half-open thingy, uTorrent's manual recommends not to set it above 50...
