How to block ads on TL with mozila

This is a tutorial to stop TL from showing those annoying adds.
    1. Open mozila and login to TL.

    2.Click TOOLS then PAGE INFO.

3.Click MEDIA and you will see some links with some pictures.Click on every link until you see the add you want to remove. Then click block image from ...

And there you go, no more annoying adds on TL.

Thanks. Using Opera's content blocker (or AdSweep for Iron ) also works.

However, TL rotates ads from time to time and other ones have a different username, so you could still see them.

I'd like to add that the URL for that MMORPG ad is:
    Code:
    http://www.torrentleech.org/images/niteva.gif
You could block this one as well.

    Nice tutorial,

You can also try the add-on "Adblock plus" for blocking them.

But maybe the girls that are now in the adds of TL are not so annoying

Thanks, just tried on my firefox 2.x and it doesn't work. It doesn't have this "block images from" option. Anyway, I really don't mind ads, only pop-ups.

Using "ad Muncher" is the best was to go to block ads and popup/unders and all the other new type of ways ppl try to do ads now adays. There is a working serial for it as long as you use a Poland proxy.

I paid for ad muncher though, it's cheap and very worth it. Could not navigate on the web with out it.

default adblock plus list doesn't block them, but manually adding the TL ad URL will work like OP said. within adblock plus plugin.

    Nice tutorial.
I'm on this site and every time new pop-up window opens. Is there a way to block that too with Firefox?

It looks like I can't block it. I can only block the pictures that are on the forum, but I need to block the pop-up window that opens every time!
