    I liked that movie.
Watch it with more people, maybe it will enhance the atmosphere.

its always safer to assume that these ideas aren't original anymore (just the particular execution/adaptation/variation/combination that may be), especially since movie making has already reached many high-points throughout its history

Experimentation with nonlinear structure in film dates back to the silent film era

    * 3.2 1990s

    Agreed

Also Citizen Kane (1941) the Orson Welles' masterpiece has a non linear structure

Regarding non linear films, I think they are very good and very much likeable. I haven't watched all the movies in IMDB top 250 but in the top 30 I can see/recognise 4 movies which are non linear and all these four are great. Pulp fiction, Memento, Fight Club, City of God (Cidade de Deus). The latter is the first foreign movie I watch and I got to say; it is a masterpiece.

There is a 250 IMDB-Pack available, but I dont't think that you should DL all of 'em, just the ones in which you are interested in.

well, if you liked that one try another brazilian movie (about an elite troop within their police force): Tropa de Elite (2007)

also, their rating system is questionable as many votes aren't being counted, some others are probably fake (like those of voters 'for hire' or 'haters') and so on:

    on topic:

other crappy recent movies would be:

I Love You Phillip Morris (2009)

idiotic drama with jim carrey (his idea of realistic acting is being undernourished i guess) and ewan mcgregor (his idea of realistic acting is having a hillbilly accent and amateurish grins i guess) about some gay prisoners having serious dilemmas about whether to be pummeled by other prisoners or to suck their d*ck

if you're interested in some decent movies (drama's) with homosexual themes better watch: Gia (1998) for female or Brokeback Mountain (2005) for male related themes

Someone's Knocking at the Door (2009)

lame horror with a boring first part & pretty much repetitive scenes of murders, too short actual splatter stuff and overall amateurish & useless plot & acting, scripted/directed probably by a barely literate person with some serious issues (vocational & psychological)

    The Book of Eli (2010)

as predicted some time ago this one was full of religious propaganda (emphasizing the book, ie. the bible and its perceived purpose), pathetic action scenes, lame dialogue and ridiculous characters (another jewish 'avenger/hero' wannabe, protecting the bible/christianity, symbolizing their historical religious connection, a little sun worshiping and the usual propaganda) - the only interesting thing would be maybe the post-apocalyptic landscapes

but if you want a good post-apocalyptic movie watch any part of the Mad Max trilogy
