moonsorrow is definitely a great band, i prefer their earlier stuff, especially the voimasta ja kunniasta album, here is my selection spanning the first 3 albums:

as for those mtv/mainstream mediocrities with dictated appearance/messages and no genuine identities, i wouldn't give them much thought/attention/promotion as they, similarly to other 'industrial products', simply don't deserve it

again, good choice - equilibrium's top performance can be heard on their turis fratyr & sagas album, whereas the rekreatur album isn't that good and resembles an average attempt at recycling previous ideas
