they haven't opened signups for a looong time, only on the last easter day they kind of opened inviting people on irc without interview, but i do not think they will do it again any soon
They stopped opening for 6-8 seconds with the introduction of the referral system. The recent IRC opening was more of an special event, and unlikely to happen again, as you said.

On a second thought, why don't you try in zamunda.net..i am not sure whether the signups are open atm , but they do open from time time.Zamunda is like London's Heathrow Airport...where loads of torrents can be found. Zamunda you rock *bows in respect*

games...hmm...i will say BCG but on some games the leechers/seeders are crap
BitGamer with the same problem ..ug-console basic stuff -no usefull for pc - games
so i will vote for TorrentLeech and a romanian tracker called filelist.ro.
offtopic : for me all trackers on games are the same because i have searched for a particular game like " BlackSite Area 51" and i have not found on the famous BCGbut i need some feedback on that games bitshock because the page look nice ..dont know the content and the numbers of leechers seeders and i don't know to register for nothing.
Their search system can be a little tricky sometime, try looking for just 'blacksite' and you will find it.

After seeing your post i just chked in zamunda...BlackSite Area 51(2007) & it has 130 seeders & 9 leechers... if you are a member there you can try it from there or else PM me your mail id , i can send you the .torrent file

Be careful with this, I think Zamunda is quite relaxed, but they could detect the IP change - or if you're already running a torrent from there, that two IPs are using the same account.PM me your mail id , i can send you the .torrent file

I have wanted to point out that it's no trackers games that have a minimum 20 seeders per any game no mather if it's new or old
