Softmp3 is closed and will not be opened up again.

I've decided to share the sourcecode as a contribution to the torrent community, so feel free to do whatever you may feel like with it.

Seems like this is their last gift to the torrent community, and they're now finally closed for good.

At least they left their source behind. Now, someone needs to make a new music site.

I wasn't a member, but heard they had good content. Too bad for this, although releasing their sources should make it easier for new music trackers to spring up.

Talking about source code, hasn't TB's been leaked in the past? Does anyone have an idea about how or why was that?

I was a member there and their content wasn't all that bad actually.

I know that they closed their site to non-swedish IP's not too long ago, but I didn't know that they closed their site for good.

What was the reason that they did close??

Was it a part of this TPB fall-out thing where a lot of other swedish trackers were sent letters by the RIAA, MPAA, and who know what other "--AA's "??

Yes, it was because of TPB.

Remember SoftMP3 was the sister side of SweDVDR which closed too.
