Coders have found a bug in our Hit and Run calculator, torrents with ratios between 0.5 and 1 were not being flagged properly as hit and runs. Due to this you may now find an increase in the number of your hit and runs. The torrents have always been hit and runs; the system just wasn't picking up on them.
Note: The H&R rule is still each individual torrent ratio 1:1 -or- 72 hours total time This hasn't changed. Sorry if there was any confusion on this.
We understand that this may be an inconvenience to a lot of you, so to help out we are going to offer free leech for 2 weeks. (Reminder: free leech does not mean no seeding required). During this two weeks no downloads will be disabled for hit and runs. So if you do have H&Rs use this time to get rid of them without damaging you global ratio, and for users without h&rs think of the free leech as a reward for following the rules.
NOTE: If any of your torrents have -0- seeders, just leave it trying to download, until the counter in your history says 3 days, and your H&R will be gone.
