* open it and wait until it connects to a server ("Connection State | Connected" message on the Status tab). you may need to
go to Options -> IE Launching, click Set global proxy, open IE and load a page before seeing the "Connected" message.

* go to Options -> Preferences -> Network and set up the Proxy Server configuration like this:

Q: After starting the proxy application, some apps don't work correctly, or at all (MSN, etc.) How can I fix this?

For GTunnel:
Go to "Options" -> "IE Launching" and click "Clear".
Q: i don't want my browser to be launched along the proxy application
A:

for gtunnel: gT should only launch your browser if you have told it to do so... options -> misc. -> "open default......."
Q: I'm getting "connection timed out", or the announces are very slow
A: choose another server. ...for gtunnel click the server 2 or server 3 buttons.
AZUREUS SETTINGS
if you chose to use gtunnel:
* open it, etc...
* open azureus
* go to Tools -> Options -> Connection (left panel) -> Proxy Options and set up the Tracker Communications configuration like this:
