Thread: UHD100.com launched to "replace" BD25.eu

    UHD100.com launched to "replace" BD25.eu

A new site was created using the BD25 backup.
    It is called UHD100.

Currently the site is only for those who registered into their discord server shared by Mag1sk here at sb-innovation in this thread: https://www.sb-innovation.de/showthr...-(Usenet-Board)

    This is their launch announcement:

https://www.uhd100.com is here and replaces bd25.eu

We hope to continue the legacy of bd25.eu founder Rabomil. With our brand new website, https://www.uhd100.com, all of the nzbs from bd25.eu have been imported to the site, nearly 30k. However, as staff, we have decided to allow other formats of media, such as digital downloads, etc., not just discs. We had a crowdfund on the unofficial bd25.eu discord server and managed to secure donations for 1 year of running costs.

Only current Discord members have been invited, and registrations will remain closed until further notice.
The announcement does not say anything about a newznab API but using /api?t=caps gave a hint that it at least exists.

Since I don't use Discord due to not agreeing with it's privacy policy, I couldn't check more about the site.
Any further information about it would be appreciated.

Did anyone got in? Can you share more details about them beyond the announcement?

Only Discord members who donated received an invite.
Staff said new forum has no API.
The Discord is not open but invite only.
Almost all the files from the backup + Discord uploads have been transferred to the new forum.

Thank you for the info, I was curious about it.

Well, do they want to implement it? Because something is there ( uhd100.com/api?t=caps ) answering the call with "missing key"., so maybe that is under construction, or they just used a template that came with some api they disabled?

Also, will they ever open doors for people who don't trust Discord Inc. ?

As far as I know, the implementation of an API is not planned. But I see some users requesting it.
The staff said that sometime in the future they will allow users to invite other users on the forum. I have no idea when that will be or how that will be implemented (donation, vetting...)

I'm gonna subscribe to this thread in any case. Sounds like it's promising like Snahp.
People are already trying to find a gateway in different places.

The discord server has been shut down and deleted, another mod opened a new one allowing new registrations (to the new discord, not the site directly) but the invite has already expired.
I wish they allowed us to join the site without having to use discord.

Let's see how things unfold. I was thinking of mirroring and sharing the BD25 backup in public so that people stop asking me for those links, but that would make it very easy to issue takedowns for everything.

That backup is already at everyone's hands and easily accessible for free to anyone. I believe every indexer should use it soon or later. The matter with the new site would be possible new content in the same quality.
That is what makes me curious about it.

Exclamation Any news about BD25 database for public domain?

I used to be a daily member of BD25, but one day my endless NZBn database crashed and I could never find any similar sites. I really need a good dose of movies to keep me entertained at night!!

Both Ninjacenter and NZBStars have it. Since you are looking for it in public, you can download the database from stars quite simply:

    1 - go to nzbstars.com
    2 - search for: BD25 DUMP
3 - Download the 42.78 GB database zipped that should be shown to you as the first result.

Please note that this nzb has the following caveats:
    - It will unzip at around 250GB
    - It has many password-ed nzbs, you should look for a txt with the passwords.
    - Some (few) passwords are wrong.

Enjoy the 61000 blurays to keep you entertained at night!

Chump change for someone who's downloading Blu-Ray discs

Sounds workable if you build a list of all known passwords and script hashcat or rar2john. RAR encryption has a huge iteration count, but for testing what I presume is a few hundred possible candidates at most, that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, i did just that when one of the passwords wouldn't match.
I made a over 500kb txt list of all the 21114 passwords, one per line removing duplicates and saved as lst.
From there on, it was up to john and, to a specific one, hashcat.
It is still easier to just manually try the easiest ones (site name, etc) by hand. Worked twice as many nzbs share these same passes.
