If you're expected to complete any torrent you start at least once in addition to seeding every torrent you complete, then that's harsher than IPT Although books are small, and it's hard to start "wrong" torrents by accident unless you use automation.

Anyway, if you no longer have the files then do as I said before, otherwise just seed. Those ghostleeched entries must look ugly in your snatchlist; whether to fix that with fake download or fake seeding (both have some risk, but MAM is unlikely to care) or just ignore them is up to you.

Sorry but how does this even work. Is there like a whole list of public IPs somewhere these big brains share in some group chat ? I doubt they set up infra for this to be some sort of pipeline notification system. What's the point of a private tracker if they're public with each other ? ( maybe I can see this being a thing if it's the same staff on multiple private trackers )

You misunderestimate them Sometimes I wish I were tracker staff just to have the apparently infinite time and energy they dedicate to this purpose (although in this particular case Bidasci didn't make it too hard).

I had a geniune laff at "daddyphatsacks". Guess I'll be getting rid of MaM. Back when I was younger I remember only PTP, what.cd and some other tracker were sharing bans ? What exactly is going on today ? Where can I find out more about this ?

In all fairness, most trackers appear to handle donations responsibly, and incidents like the above are pretty... human. When you're receiving at least a few hundred dollars per month (these sites can't run on a $5 VPS) and no one will audit you, it's very tempting to use some of those funds for other purposes. The What.cd mod had to choose between not betraying his e-buddies and keeping $10,000, which do you think most people would pick?
