Strange bug in VIVALDI & Qbit

Ok, long story short ,in the last few days , without making any changes i can't anymore open torrents when i hit download from vivaldi browser
each time i click download and it pops up the window with save, save us,open, cancel
if i click open so that the torrent will already start in qbit , it goes back to save ,not open like it should ,just letting me where to save the torrent ,making me to double click each torrent after that ,to be put in qbit download and start

how the i fix this because it bugs me

Have you tried to re associate .torrent files with qbittorrent? Inside qbit check options, behavior, "use qBittorrent for .torrent files".
If it's already marked, try to unmark, then hit ok, and repeat the process.
    it's hip to be square

This is a good idea. Just keep in mind that creating file associations is a privileged action, so you may have to run qBittorrent as administrator first.

How file downloads are handled (if they're treated as downloads at all) depends on which Content-Type and Content-Disposition headers the server sends, as well as any MIME type sniffing and overrides done on the browser's side. There is a feature request to allow MIME type micromanagement in the Vivaldi forums, which apparently hasn't been implemented. I did, however, find this.

HOW TO: make vivaldi open downloaded files automatically

yeah but they don't bother much to implement MIME type
anyway, somehow issue has been fixed, mostly by self,
just reseted vivaldi settings ,fresh install and no file asoc on qbit

Ah, if all else fails, clean install. Glad you could solve it, I personally don't have too much patience for dealing with this sort of "micro-problems" anymore

I suppose defining an autoload directory on qBittorrent and saving the .torrent files there was a possible workaround.

i taught to install even windows and installing an old windows 7 - but i wasen't sure that newer games will work on that OS,also i have the RDR2 saves on system and don't want to lose them

patience for dealing with this sort of "micro-problems" anymore
i know the felling but for me wasen't a micro-problem since i need it every day

right now i have another micro problem - rarbg shutting down - was my main source of Entertainment -the other alternatives dosen't have preview on torrents ,made a tl leech account instead but i have to make ratio - i hate ratio trackers )) but i remembered a fav tool from sb-i (sb-i leecher)

Oh my, don't, cheating is bad Since the old days, TL has added freeleech, bonus points and approximately one trillion members from open signups, so ratio is not a big deal. I felt comfier at IPT and FL.io, though.

Zamunda is also nice. Lots of content and no ratio requirements (or passkey system for that matter).

is there as an option but haven't used it for now
fl.io when it comes to tv-shows it makes harder for me to notice them ( at least the new one) so pre is not so good

zamunda looks nice however, thanks for the tip
