Browser to use on a tracker you were banned

    Hello,

I was banned on a private tracker for no reason at all (Bitspyder). I assume it is due to inactivity. I got an invite and never used the tracker for months. Now I wanted to check it out more carefully and I noticed that when I want to open the site, I get an error with "You are banned". I've changed my IP, but I still have the same problem. When I use a VPN, I can open the site without getting this error. Is it possible that they have blocked a whole IP class? Or can they fingerprint my browser? If yes, what browser would you recommend for this? They don't allow TOR browser, so I need an alternative.

    Thank you for your help!

Fingerprint mostly. Just use another browser, IP and MAIL.

Firstly, "never us[ing] the tracker for months" definitely sounds like exceeding BitSpyder's inactivity period of 50 days. But let's not drown in a glass of water. You should simply go to their IRC channel and explain the situation: that you lost your account to inactivity, your IP seems to be banned on top of that, and you would like to be able to use the tracker again. If you really haven't done anything wrong, they should lift both bans. Otherwise, we can begin to discuss reregistration countermeasures
