Hello,
I know the thread might seem like a failed movie title but it really isn't and i've racking my brains on this for days. Here goes:
Some items sometimes come with a coating over its original plastic that makes it softer to the touch, similar to rubber. However, due to heat, this often melts and when that happens it becomes sticky. Now I haven't been able to find anything on the internet other than OT: how to remove those Matt material that turn sticky? - Page 2 - www.hardwarezone.com.sg
I have seen this on webcams, laptops, keyboards. This can be cleaned off using rubbing alchohol or isopropyl alchohol but by taking it off it just looks weird.
Anyone has any experience, input, idea, anything about the matter?
Thank you!
