My friend's account still gets thrown to the old mobile interface with a IE8 User-Agent, whereas none of mine do. I want to be like him when I grow up
And it now has the ability to send attachments! Sacrilege.

Is it possible to make a complete backup of an Outlook.com account, like on Gmail or Fastmail? I can't find such a feature anywhere. Since I don't use folders, I guess using a POP3 client to download everything while leaving a copy on the server would work, but there must be something better.

You can add the IMAP or pop3 to your gmail and it will sync the mails. I think IMAP won't actually fully sync (they'll disappear if you remove the link), but POP3 will!
I did this a few years back with POP3 for my old mail when switching to gmail

I don't want to copy them to another account, just make an offline backup. Is POP3 still the way to go?

Someone sent me two e-mails at around 10 AM last Friday. They arrived at 3 PM and out of order. This ever happen to any of you before? Both the sender and me use Outlook.com (hence why I'm asking here).
