I'd like to something with my android but don't know if it is possible. An eample is better here so: I have a PC connected to the internet. While I;m connected to the internet I want to create another connection to my phone and use its internet connection. Something like a VPN.
Does that make any sense? And if so, is it doable?

What you want to do is called tethering.

What can be done with an Android device that refuses to recognize SD cards? I tried four different ones, formatted as both USB-HDD and superfloppy (no partition table). The system does know when they're inserted as the "mount SD card" option becomes clickable, but pushing it makes "mounting SD card..." flicker at the bottom for less than a second and then nothing.
Worst part is, putting the same cards inside a $1 USB card reader works great...

The biggest one had 4 GB. The others were 2 GB, 256 MB and 128 MB.

OK.... Don't know then. I was talking about more than 32GB
Are they formatted as fat32?

Stupid question, but did you try google? Type your phone and SD card, you might get lucky!
I tried that before bothering you people with questions

Anyone tried GBWhatsApp? I hate whatsapp itself and am looking for an alternative of its main application.

Note that they'll soft-ban you if they catch you using a modded client, so check the comments before you install anything.
This reminds me of the Russian Opera Mini mod that added a file browser, media player and even FTP client, in addition to tons of tweaks... it still exists (opera-mini.ru).

I need some advice on the following problem.
I need some alternate way to download new apps from google play. Most services that offer application downloads from google store often run out of bandwidth and is not acceptable for me.
I do not want to use google account/store on my phone. So I need a way to get these apps.
If I setup a cheap phone to download from google play, where would I find the APKs after download and install?
If an Android phone has AGPS, is it possible to find my location and use maps without any sort of connection (no Wi-Fi and no SIM card inserted)? Online answers vary between "yes if you wait 15 minutes on an open-air location and have offline maps downloaded", "no" and "only iPhones can do that shit".

Did you try HERE WeGo app? I think that one works offline as well.
