    Prince

as you probably heard about the death (passing away) of the musician called 'prince', here's a selection of some of his finest moments (chronologically):

    Prince - When Doves Cry

    Prince - Purple Rain

Prince - Take Me With U

    Prince - Kiss

    Prince - Batdance

seems his videos/songs are often removed from youtube, thus the vimeo links

also, instead of RIP i'll say farewell (towards your next station or level of our never-ending journeys)
what should rest in peace? the illusory/illusionary role that was played out during one's earthly life-time (as it has served its purpose)

Prince was completely against having his music on the Internet, even on places where he'd have made money from it, like iTunes or official YouTube music videos.

You missed my favorite. Please go to vid DOT me SLASH 2zj7 to hear it

I was dreaming when I wrote this
So sue me if I go too fast
But life is just a party
And parties weren't meant to last

    soon thereafter i woke up
    realizing i was just dreaming
    the party bubble broke up
and i find myself looking for a deeper meaning

i guess he was afraid of what would happen if his music got distributed 'for free', as many (wealthy) artists are - do they not find it satisfying to know how only those who really liked their music (and had some available financial means) actually bought it, as opposed to buying blind(ly), hoping that the final product meets one's expectations... oh wait, artists strangely also like nu-economy 101 (aka 'must sell moar')

I think he had either bought into the "lost sales" myth, or didn't know much about how the Internet works and simply preferred having nothing to do with it.

Whatever the reason, I find it a sad state of affairs that the music videos we'd like to remember him for are deleted as fast as they can be uploaded.

he did sell much of his later (and lesser) work online as digital downloads

guess he'll also remain as a symbol (!) of what not to do when you're a famous artist, an embarrassing stain shared (!) with many other insensitive and greedy/blinded artists

however, what important things he didn't learn in this life will have to be transferred as 'to do' in the next one(s), until he reaches a level free of essential embarrassments - which is symbolized by the phrase: 'and the blind shall see'

    - the cure here represents neutralizing the 'virus' or addiction called 'materialistic desires', as mentioned in the previous post with the saying: 'and the blind shall see' - what will they see? the truth about themselves and the world around them, ie. that their existence does not depend on the materialistic world, thus lessening materialistic desires and finally releasing them from (revolving within) the materialistic world

notice how the superficial reasoning considers only curing his body from this disease he experienced

his persona or role called 'prince' lasts only for one lifetime, as well as any other ones he was/is/will be experiencing during his voyage in the materialistic world - all the while his spiritual self remains a constant - that self is everlasting, that self lives the so-called 'life eternal', the question is whether that self is also thoroughly aware of what it is (a state known as self-realization) or whether it only has an idea of what it might be (like most humans do)

notice how wealthy but ignorant people consider only prolonging their current life as far as possible (hoping for that eternity, mirroring the original idea in their ignorant ways)

so its quite likely that medical aids (!) is what killed his body, in addition to his likely unhealthy lifestyle in general (though we could involve karmic relationships/dependencies as a more encompassing term as well)
