not too bad indie, though it was uneven (say: the annoying 30-40min at the beginning) - it gets better later on with the album-making process
they did cheat with bringing on-board already well known mainstream musicians and the indie way in which the album was sold did not seem genuine (i wonder whether they sold the movie or the soundtrack the same way... did they? you wish... )

I was looking through my tracks and thought about the struggle to acquire them by invite and account. Funny if you think about it... All elearning trackers I got without hassle but it was those 0-day, game and HD-content trackers that were very hard like blackcats, torrentleech, music-vids, xbox-sky, passthepopcorn.
Yet after all these years my focus turned to elearning and my most valuable tracker to date is bibliotik. The rest follows bs, bitme and other content related. To think that I did not give a damn about these and now I find them invaluable.

Since you mentioned struggle and difficulty, I'll tell you a little story.

During my first year here, I was too afraid to ask for invites.

There were giveaways in the public forums, but I never applied for them because I was rather new to private trackers and cheating, and didn't want to waste someone's invite if I got banned or didn't like the place. I also feared I might not be good enough for my inviter, even if their requirements were met.

I was promoted to Elite some months after registering, and there was this thread in the hidden section where invites and accounts for very good trackers used to be shared, but I still didn't dare to ask for anything.

Since I had lost my TL account to inactivity in '07, the one invite-only tracker I had for a long time was RevolutionTT, and only because they opened signups and shoulder or zatoicchi posted the link here. What.cd was the second one. I was chatting with Rebound on ICQ, and he offered an invite out of the blue, which was pretty awesome. All my other accounts were on open sites.

Other invites flew at me later on. SealLion offered me a Waffles account, which I was initially ultra-careful with... not logging in for nearly a month after he gave me the login data, to avoid getting it banned! jolas offered me CN where they were supersecret, with a userbase of 300 people and being referred to as "*N" everywhere; I turned that one down because I didn't download movies at the time.

One of my most memorable moments in this forum was logging in from a cybercafe, pretty pissed because the Internet at home had been broken for several days, and finding I had an unread PM. It was from a member here who was leaving BitTorrent, because he had found better ways to get his files. He thought of letting his accounts die, but since I had helped him configure the Azureus SB-Innovation Hack ("Vuze Extreme Mod" didn't exist yet) every step of the way, he gave all of them to me. I was very happy, because among all those great tracker accounts I'd never get by myself, was TorrentLeech, which I had been hoping to get back into for a long time! (Humble goal That was in early '09. He still wanders this place on a new account. If you're reading this, hi and thanks for everything )

Things changed afterwards. I decided that if there was a giveaway for something I was interested on, I should apply because nothing would be lost if I were turned down anyway. Even more invites and accounts were offered to me in private. I learned about giveaways on trackers' class-restricted forums. I joined an invite forum, supposedly one of the best and most famous, but there was so much bullshit to deal with that I left never to come back.

And well, I'm here now.

It's a quarter past 11pm and I still haven't opened my work mailbox. I spent most of the day typing cool memories from school, which I then e-mailed to two of my friends. This was an idea I had when I couldn't sleep today and said memories began to flow at an accelerated rate, perhaps inspired by the "My Primary School" thread. In other words, I typed a lot today.

Here's one of them, translated. I'm doing this mostly because I still feel like typing, but maybe you'll enjoy it.

Second year, Physical Education classes begin. I had to go and speak to <Professor> in person to get exempted from them due to my "allergy to grass"1. Also, the following day, we were to hand in a huge Biology essay we hadn't even started yet. I arranged things with <Friend> so that I'd go to the field, whereas he would miss P.E. and go to the netcafe on Córdoba St. and write the essay. <Classmate>, whom I barely knew at the time, would accompany me as I didn't remember which bus to take and where to get off, and didn't dare to go alone and end up in the slums by mistake. The guy was playing Warcraft at Alkon2; after he was done, we would already be late for class, yet he went to the front desk and paid for another hour... I could not believe this, but I had no choice. When we finally arrived, two hours late, we told <Professor> the bus had gotten a flat tire(?) and we got stuck in the street until another one came by, to which he replied "oh, the bus got a flat tire..." with a smile which obviously meant "son of a bi***, that's an horrible lie, but I'll let it slide, go play ball". After this, I sent <Friend> several text messages and even called him, to make sure he was working on the essay. After the class finished, I took the bus, got off near the Córdoba St. cybercafe, and found him on computer no. 3. I ask him to show me what he had done so far, and he shows me Word's "Document1", which was BLANK... I almost punched him in the face. We had ten minutes left. I sat and started to look for information like there was no tomorrow. Managed to put together 40% of the essay and print a copy within the last minute. When we got out of the place, we were doomed. We barely had one peso of money among the two of us, which severely limited our options. Thinking of what to do, we dropped by the Montevideo St. cafe and found <Mutual friend>, who was playing Counter-Strike. <Friend> and I paid asked for two computers, a quarter hour each, and he played with <Mutual friend> while I finished the essay, which was printed on minute no. 14 (I think <Mutual friend> borrowed us some coins to let us make ends meet). With the nightmare almost over, we went to a copy shop on that same street, so that for twenty cents <Friend> could get a copy of "his" essay. On top of all this, it was 8pm, and at the time my parents would still get pushy with me if I got home late (which I had to do on foot), as it effectively happened. But at the end of the day, I could take the sheets out of my backpack, look at them, and think "yes, we made something here". The essay was about epithelial tissue, and I still have my copy. 1 = that was a bullshit excuse I invented, because why waste my time and money taking bus trips to a field and running around there every week, when the possibility of not doing it was at hand? 2 = a high-class, expensive gaming cafe which no longer exists

It was somewhat my mistake.. I didn't completed the medicine course last time and weather is changing here. Sometimes its too hot and sometimes cold due to clouds.. I switched on the fam and ac and boom fever. As for throad i ate some things at night which r not considered very good for throat at night
