In "The Equalizer," Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. Been ages since I've seen Denzel in a movie... While the story seems meh, it's still a Denzel movie.. Tough call!

will probably watch it, though its likely another version of 'the man on fire' which was kinda good (at least the first half)

also, denzel 'was the man', back in, say, the 90's or early 2000's, whereas after American Gangster (2007) his movies got way (below) average to bother mentioning them, so without further ado, for good movies with denzel see:
