Can I open a Private session in firefox without addons?
I'm not looking for a new profile but just a way to disable the addons when going private. Any suggestions?
safe mode does that. open ff and select "Help" >> "Restart with Add ons disabled". when ff restarts you will get a window asking the preferences you need in safe mode including disable all add ons, reset tool bars etc. starting ff in the safe mode may done also by pressing "Shift" while opening Firefox through any shortcut. check this for more uses. there is a private window feature through "File" >> "New Private Window" (or Ctrl+Shift+P) but i don't think addons would be disabled using this option.
firefox.exe -private -safe-mode

First go to Network IP Address via ipcalf.com
Then, install Disable WebRTC.: Though WebRTC, JavaScript can to access your network IP(s), without any user prompt. The addon will prevent this.
Then go to Network IP Address via ipcalf.com to see the difference.
You can also disable WebRTC without Addon in "about:config" by toggling "media.peerconnection.enabled" to "false".
Download Status Bar
Many nice features if you want keep control of what you download. One of my favorite feature being that this addon automatically calculate the SHA/MD5 hashes of the file you have downloaded, so that you can easily compare it to what it is supposed to be.

White Noise Generator
Same obfuscating principle than the previous addon, but this time concerning the entire web surfing: When it is launched, WNG opens a new window and in this window opens a certain number of tabs (it's up to you to decide their number) in which WNG randomly opens sites.
Currently 4 lists of sites are available: German list (the default list), YouTube List, eBay list and US List. Addon still in beta.

I need a good addon for either firefox or chrome, for youtube, for downloading videos in HD.
iSebaro ~ SaveTube
It can even download audio only (as M4A), since YouTube offers that now.

Is there any addons that can disable images and flash content? I'm interested in bandwidth saving.
