GFT and BTN are back.
I've seen that twitter before it got shut down, wasn't impressed. And I think it was fake.
Felt like some random guy(s) trying to take advantage of situation by claiming responsibility for attacks.
To put such ddos pressure for so many days onto trackers which are scattered and hosted on various servers in various countries... I don't know who does it, but its someone who is really serious and resourceful.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
BCG is back too
The past few days Blackcats was down due to a massive DDoS attack aimed at several torrent sites. The host has been busy and managed to get us back online. If we go down again in the next couple of hours it means the attacker has found another way of DDoS'ing us, but I don't think he will.
PTP is back
GFT is down since a long time nowAnd We're Back!
Over the past two weeks we've suffered some unexpected down time due to a large scale DDoS. We've put some additional security layers in place, which will hopefully mitigate such attacks in the future.
The entire process took longer than expected due to some hosting complications and the necessity of vetting our new security protocols.
There are still a few kinks left to iron out. TLS is temporarily down, and you may experience intermittent 500 Internal Server Errors. Rest assured we are working diligently to fix them, and expect to be back up and running on all cylinders in the next few days.
Thank you to everyone for your patience. We missed you!
Much Love,
--The PTP Staff
GFT is back too.
At first we had some problems unrelated to the DDOS attack that followed and kept us offline for some time. GFT was one of the last sites to get involved in this that has to be the largest attack on p2p sites on the net ever. Some people are just too sad!
