A little tutorial on how to cheat on waffles

ok so as i understand it. i just need to upload to amount of data i want (using mratio) , and i must stop the torrent every time like 2 or 3 minutes before the update and start it again with my fake upload speed. and i have to do it again and again until i upload the amount of data i want.

when i've uploaded all the data i want too, i need to stop the torrent again and set the upload speed to 0kbs and the download speed to my real one. so the staff members of the tracker see that i've uploaded with 0 kbs and downloaded with my real speed

So you want to fake DL and UL with WM?
It's more logical if you first focus on the fake downloading like anon said. then when complete, get the fake UL started

There's nothing wrong if you show in the snatchlist with 0kbs UL and 0kbs DL, since that only means you've stopped the torrent after downloading, then restarted.

However, i really don't like this method, since you can never be sure that there isn't a hidden perm snatchlist for staff, or when they start having one

We can never know what perks staff have or when they'll get new ones. If that concerns you a lot, you shouldn't be cheating

I just meant it in the sense that, if the user is doing everything like he should, choosing well leeched torrents, not being greedy, etc... There's no problem in showing in the snatchlist

So imo the only reason to use this method is if you're greedy or like to take risks

I am little confused... So first i need to download torrent, after that, open ratiomaster and do mr(when to do mr, when torrent is 100% download, or before?), and than turn off utorent and start with ratiomaster? Am i right?

Ok I read the original tutorial 3-4 times and spent the last little while skimming the last 20 or so pages of this thread to make sure I get this way of cheating in the bag. Just to make sure I have the way right can someone make sure this is what is meant to be done.

1. Download a torrent with lots of seeders that isn't a pack. Also make sure that the torrent is a max of 1-2 gigs. The smaller the better
2. Open the torrent in mRatio, configure memory reader to take my uTorrent info (that is open with another torrent from a different tracker in it)
3. Set upload to 1mb/s and download to less (maybe 900kb/s or so)
4. Start the torrent and let it do it's thing until 2-3 minutes before update. So if mRatio says update in 30min, I stop at at the 27 min mark and change upload to 2kb/s and download to my reqular speed if I was downloading the torrent regually. (ex. if my provider gives me 350kbps I'd set it to 330 or so right?)
5. Start the torrent again
6. let it run for as long as possible to make the high speeds average to a believable speed. Lets say 100-300kbps? Or should I aim for a lower speed?
7. Stop the torrent. Keep ratio between 1-2 and don't be greedy as that's the easiest way to get banned. Lay low, don't comment on forums or go on irc.

That's how it works correct?

How I have a few questions about the system that I didn't read about yet and was hoping to get answered.

1. I can't keep my computer on 24/7, is it ok if I turn it off at night and than let it seed throughout the day? Or is that dangerous and when using this method I should never stop seeding
2. This method works on other trackers too right? Just check the cheating experiences section to make sure it works?
3. This method is all about not showing up on some lists (don't remember what they are called), does that mean I need to change to the slow speeds after the first update? I'm not 100% on this one. If not, when should I change from high speeds to small speeds?
4. mRatio has this option that is called the Waffles method, I assume that it's supposed to automatically do this method. How safe is it to use it?
5. If it's safe to use, can someone explain to me what the options mean on this:

Ignore all the questions up there. No one replied so I did more digging and got them all answered. Testing it out on TD right now because I don't really care for the tracker. After a week or so, I'll step it up to some of the bigger names. :)

Thanks. I figured that no one answered because these questions have been asked before. So I did a lot of digging in this thread and went through mratio's past versions until I found when the waffles method was implemented and looked through that thread until my answers about the program's handling of the waffles method were answered
