At one of the tracker forums I asked for a BTN account....turns out the person that invited me is a mod at several places including the 'tracker' which the forums were held...@BTN and also others that I won't mention. Now this is the dilemma. Considering he is a mod, if I cheat I might risk my account at BTN and at other places and in addition he'll probably ban me at other places. Should I just tell him to close my BTN account and better off get somebody elses invite just to be safe?

Since you've logged in to the BTN account at least once, they have your IP now. There are two paths you can take from here. Either you keep on using it (and cheat; it's up to you and I wouldn't do it) or you discard it and get another one.

There is no reason to cheat considering the position you've placed yourself into regarding being granted an invite.

1. duping....not quite familiar
2. Because of reason 1 and its potential failures....it may lead to ban on other trackers
3. I'm not changing IP address....even though its soo simple and I know its my fault if this is my choice. Don't ask why.
4. I don't really think BTN is that good (obviously some clarification is needed and a bit biased.)
5. Unless you can have dupes then I will consider...

We're slaves of our own decisions. I'm not going to question your motives, but if you don't want to change your own IP, there's no successful way to create a dupe.

I didn't mention anything on what kind of cheating. I specifically quoted your " if I cheat"... portion of your quote emphasizing the 'if"
You stated so yourself. And that includes risking your account on the possibility of cheating. Read your own quote and/or post yourself if you don't believe me.
Look my friend. Let me ask you something here. I completely disagree with what most people here have been saying and that is to leave the account alone, do nothing with the account, or go and dupe an account.
What would motivate you to get an account, irrespective of the person's position inside that tracker, and consider disrespecting that person's graciousness in granting you an account by cheating.
Can't you show some restraint?? Do you actually have to go that far and disrespect that person's granting you an invite and all the while potentially cheat at the account??
I learned the hard way and it was damn embarrassing to be caught cheating and then later on have it that my inviter found out about it and never to be granted an invite by him/her again.
I've been invited by an sysop, and admin, a moderator, and a vip at various sites and I still have those accounts. And I haven't cheated either. I personally gave up that kind of activity b/c it just doesn't seem to fit my interests any longer.
Your asking what to do now with an account that was given you by a moderator and what to do if you cheat and the fact that you risk this and possibly other accounts (as per your statements, too I might add).

Yeah, I always respect the ppl invite me . If I got banned I would be very embarrassing ， something I even abandon the account of tracker community. And that is a major reason I love this community.
btw, there is no need to cheat on BTN, it is a ratioless tracker !
