    I found if my extensions work in FF4 just fine and not in FF5, then it takes a quick edit in the xpi to fix. Open the xpi in Winrar and extract install.rdf, and open with notepad. Inside the install.rdf, change the MaxVersion to something higher than 5.0. Save it and then drag the new install.rdf back into the xpi opened in Winrar. Open with Firefox and you should have a working extension

    In another note, this is what you all should be reading:
    Firefox 8 is 20% faster than Firefox 5, matches Chrome 14
    Firefox 8 is 20% faster than Firefox 5, matches Chrome 14 | ExtremeTech
    After 8 hitting the stable channel we should really be seeing usability improvements as these latest versions were trying to catch up with all the other browsers out there.
