"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
Even invites are closed, new users can signup to Google+ .
Here's a Way To Get a Google+ Invite Now (Updated)
I do? Most people are naive, so they trust people blindly. But Google mistrust is widespread.
So having G+ win, and Facebook lose, will create a lot more aware network site users.
It's my theory, and I'll stick to it :-)
"It's very hard to predict anything. Especially the future." - Niels Bohr
the thing that grates with me is that people in general do seem to be aware - but just don't care - and these are the same people who moan when data breaches happen or when their cell phones are plagued with sales calls and credit card offers - these are the same group of people who wonder how companies get all of their info - while they are busy filling in any blank spaces that organisations can't fill in themselves.
in general, if people care about their privacy they should think long and hard before signing up with certain companies.
what people see as 'a bit of fun' online is making big money for organisations who are tasked with cross referencing and collating user information.
this is the same information that can be used against you in ways many people don't expect by companies which appear to have no links with your online life.
insurance companies, credit card companies, pharmaceutical companies, banks, p.r. companies - all of these can make use of the info that people are pouring into these online voluntary data mining programs.
the sad thing is that a lot of people think this the stuff of conspiracy.
organisations openly admit what they use info for, how it is traded between them and how you can opt out of all of it by not agreeing to the tos/t&c.
shame that people think 'ahh, there's nothing of any use to anyone on my page' when they join these sites and dive in anyway. after all, who reads tos/t&c anyhow?
not a lot of people.
and that's what they're counting on.
the Google+ will be a good and a big social network.
after i get there Google have a good and new features also don't forget skype video an call on Google+.
They're adding games to Google+, which is supposed because most Facebook users play the facebook games a lot.
So this time, Google did their market study well, and are serious :)
so is it still possible to register?

Already turn down an invite I won't use it unless the people I talk to uses it, and has something interesting besides just being a way to talk to other people.
@Anon: Tons of people use(d) Sonico, Myspace and Fotolog for that matter. Of course, they were not so popular but still, they were in the evoked set
