Yes. That's the one. Now I remember. It was Seednation. There was a lot of controversy surrounding this event and in the end, it was discovered it was a sham. There was some discussion that the originator of Seednation just wanted to gather other people's personal info.
Now that I recall the name, I managed to quickly hunt down the scam that was associated with the Seednation brand seedboxes.
In the end, that place shut down. The weblink even illustrates this.
Terribly sorry, anon. I didn't see that there was a Filenetworks blog link inside your post. Otherwise, I would have recognized what the sham was all about after noticed it/ reading it.
