000webhost - Free website with SQL, cPanel, Fantastico auto installer, and more. I like this place because it has lots of extras, no ads, and free. Enjoy

I realize this is more off topic than on topic, but paying for a host is totally worth it, speaking out of experience.

UnlimitedTree and OrangeServe offer tons of features and unlimited traffic and disk space - however, there are many scripts they don't allow.

square7.ch offers 7GB storage, no Filesizelimit, unlimited traffic and allows every filetype. Though i think there are Ads. Just use NoScript or Adblock :-P

Are you going to tell your visitors to use those so your site doesn't suck? Using it yourself is one thing, but forcing visitors to do so is another imho. Free is good, but I've personally always thought (other people's mainly, but also your own) ads are unacceptable. Unless you just want the webhost to host some files or something, but you might as well just create a dropbox for that.Originally Posted by cheetah
