Just make sure there's leeching going on the torrent. Faking download on something with 100 seeders and 1 leecher isn't a good idea.

Okay. I'm asking because I want to try out normal downloading on waffles then do WM for upload once the download is completed. I just want to see if it'll still double the stats or not.

Download fake is more dangerous than upload fake. If you want to stay safe, you need to turn off download at all, but you shouldn't use this method often.

You can easily increase your upload 2-3 times without any problems. I don't know what soft you use, in TRK I would set 143% on upload and turn on limiting cheat speed to 100-120kb/s
Because it's a korean tracker where everyone has a 1gbps connection or so, settin' a 120-130 kbps will not help
BTW, should I cheat on fresh packs with high speed (it's a general question, but in my case, I would like to cheat on SceneHD and SatClubbing)
When everyone can pull 1000 times as much, who will care about the little guy uploading at 120kB/s?
