    Display RAM And CPU Usage On Windows 7 Taskbar

    RAM CPU Taskbar for Windows 7 is a new lightweight portable application that displays both CPU and RAM usage on Windows 7 Taskbar without disturbing anything on it, making it a better solution than previously recommended Windows 7 Taskbar Monitor.

    The working is simple. You launch the application and configure the settings. The first option is to select the type of RAM Data to monitor – Physical Memory, Virtual Memory, or Total Memory. The warning and critical level can be changed by moving the slider for both RAM and CPU. By default, it shows RAM and CPU usage from right to left but you can change this in options. Red means critical, Orange/Yellow means Warning, and Green/Blue means Normal. However, these colors can be customized to your liking. Clicking Save will minimize the application to the system tray and show memory usage on the taskbar.

    It takes only 9MB of memory, and has been tested on all resolutions. It can be launched at Windows startup without showing the options screen each time it is run. The best part is that it is hidden from Alt+Tab preview and works with different taskbar height.

    The developer plans to add support for left and right positioned taskbar and auto-hide taskbar, in the next release. Multi-display support is also coming soon.
    Spoiler Change Log ::
    v1.2 - Added CPU Meter
    v1.1 - Added support for taskbar height
    v1.0 - Fully working (may have some bugs)
    v0.2 - Works with small icons taskbar
    v0.1 - Initial release

    Spoiler Working things::
    Colour changer - Normal, warning and critical colours
    Warning and critical percentage changer
    Data source - Paging, physical or both
    All resolutions (tested on 1280x800, 1680x1050 and 1920x1080)
    Left to right or right to left
    Small icons taskbar
    Uses only 9 MB of memory itself (rather than Rainmeter's 25 MB)
    Settings saving
    Start on Windows Login
    Don't show options screen at Application start up
    System tray icon
    Hidden from ALT-TAB list
    Icon works for extra large, large and medium as well as details/list
    Top and Bottom positioned taskbars
    Different heights for the taskbar
    Added a CPU Meter from requests

    Spoiler Not working things::
    Multi-display
    Resists show desktop
    Left and right positioned taskbars

    Nice but I wouldn't recommend it. Having gadgets/applications that use realtime system monitoring for the display of cpu/ram/graphics/hdd space/etc will degrade performance by a whole lot.

    What he said. Never saw the point of these apps, anyway. If I want to know how much CPU and RAM I'm using, I'll open the Task Manager. If I want to know how much free space my drives have, I'll press Win+E and let Explorer show that to me.

    Ya, I have to agree. Why populate your computer with excess baggage??
    I, myself never really found much use for these kinds of apps other than to fill up your HDD and your registry. As far as I'm personally concerned, I like to have maximum real-estate on my desktop.
    The makers of these apps think that making life easier for us while using our computers most of the time think that we're dumb. That we don't know how to access any of this information if even we wanted to see it.

    whose grey top shall tremble,
    He descending, will Himself,
    in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
    ordain them laws".
