So yesterday I got this processor. It's suppose to be the best for old motherboards with Socket A.
I installed it correctly, start the PC, and at post screen I imagined that it would say that I have 3200+, but instead it was 2200+ (1.7Ghz). So in a way I was shocked. Is that suppose to be like that? I thought that it should be 3200+ from that start, so I can overclock it some more. Instead now I overclocked to 2800+, and I'm not sure if I should try it some more. My temp is already over 50°C.
I have an Asrock K7S41GX motherboard, my FSB is currently 195. You guys think I should give it a shot? What's the max temp for processors to handle?
