Pause and Stop (Page 1) / General / Forums - µTorrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client

BITTORRENT - What's the difference in using Pause/Stop in µTorrent? - efreedom

On some trackers you can pause a torrent and still gain seedbonus points)

Three upload slots per torrent, and no more than two active torrents running at the same time.

As long as they aren't downloading and uploading, you can run as many torrents as you want. Inactive torrents use virtually zero resources.

Pausing doesn't send the stopped announce to the tracker, neither does it drop peer connections, it only reduces their transfer speed to 0B/s. Paused torrents are auto-stopped if not resumed after some time.

Stopping does all of the above.

Just set the "maximum number of active torrents" to something ridiculously high such as 9999999.
